Hello Ryu! First of all - can you tell us a few things about you?
Hi, my name is Ryusuke and I’m currently working as a business development manager in Japan. Prior to my current job, I was working at an online travel platform company and I was responsible for managing a wide range of existing hotel partners in the Japanese and Micronesia market.
Although I pretty much grew up in Japan, I lived overseas for about 12 years. I graduated from a university in Canada and my major was finance and accounting. Since I have met people from various backgrounds and different countries, I always love eating and trying new cuisines from all over the world.
What does your life and work at PriceHubble look like?
My main role is to grow business in the Japan market so most of the time I spent meeting new prospects and explaining the benefits of utilizing our products.
There are not many routine tasks, thus I have always different schedules everyday. For instance, I would prepare a presentation for prospective clients and I would attend the event or create new marketing materials.
What do you like the most about working here with us?
What I like about working at PriceHubble is that there is not much repetitive work and you can take ownership of your work. If you like taking initiatives, I believe PriceHubble is a good place to work where you can try new different tasks and you can actually come up with your own ideas to make significant contributions to the company.
I’ve enjoyed working at PriceHubble so far. I regularly communicate with internal team members from different departments in English. Even though we cannot see each other in person, I can still feel that I am working in an international working environment because whenever I need some help my team members are always supportive.
